  what was the absolute worst pt you had to sit thru?.

  i was thinking that for me the worst outline is "get a firm hold on the real life".

  yes a life constricted by endless and ever changing rules, burdened by guilt, fear and obligation, and all the while hoping for an empty promise has got to be the "real life"

  He didn't understand international relations - he had never even been out of the country. Militarily he was a disaster. He surrounded himself with buffoons.

  Hmm cant agree with that.The Man did have some idiots on his staff (Goering comes to mind)but if you look at his Generals,some were brilliant...well,it could be argued that if THEY had had a free reign many military mistakes made by the Wehrmacht (read Hitler)certainly wouldnt have happened, possibly with differing outcomes to the war.

  But their sycophantic obedience to Hitler was the German Armies biggest undoing.

  That is one reason i could never accept Irvings claim that Hitler didnt have knowledge of the true extent of the holocaust.He ingratiated himself in every facet of Government and military intelligence.

  It would be inconceivable that he didnt know what was going on.Just because Hitler wasnt at Wannsee conference..there is no doubt his cronies would have gone running to him to crow about what they had planned for the Jews!

  Irving is a wanker like his hero was.

  apparently, some neighbors reported one of the mothers for child abuse and called up the hall and told the elders that if they see it again they will call the police.. .

  by no shocker the mother was still able to keep her baby...

  This is akin to equating homosexuality with child molestation. Spaking and physically abusing someone are two different things.

  Ridiculous.Any homosexual ive ever known or been acquainted with has lived in peace and wouldnt hurt a fly.Nobody puts that hoary old chestnut about being gay/a child molester together unless totally stupid.

  Speaking from a very real experience,being smacked around in the name of "discipline"from a ridiculously early age has resulted in so many negatives..that i wouldnt even know where to begin.But hey,the pasts the past.But if i ever saw someone "smacking"a child in public i would interfere and poke my nose in where its not wanted.

  sweden has the right idea.Sue any bugger that hits you..parents or not.

  i was getting thrashed to pieces at the age of 5.My stoopid wanker parents thought it was a good idea.So did the Congregation it would seem..nobody raised an eyebrow.

  Now myself and my siblings have practically disowned our Parents(for many reasons other than this one).They are very upset about it.I couldnt give a flying fuck and wouldnt go to their Funeral if they died tomorrow.
